ALIX EDWARDS is really an artist that is multi-platform. Her work explores themes of marginalisation, domestic physical violence, motherhood and resilience, and provides a vocals mainly to ladies and kids who culture has failed or ignored. She makes use of photography, painting, installation, text and spoken term to displace life, power and feeling to statistics, create new narratives and tell stories about ladies that could otherwise stay untold.Her work is exhibited in England and Wales including 198 Gallery, Sutton home, g39, Cardiff Made, Truman Brewery, Angus Hughes, The Gas Club, Oxford home, The Laundry, The Gate, The Russian Club, The Overlay Project and published in Lucent Dreaming, The Loss venture, Blink-Ink, the write time.
